DKU-5 Cable And Vista
I am trying to install the drivers for a Nokia DKU-5 cable I just bought. I
can't find any vista specific drivers so I installed the XP ones. These install Ok but when I plug the cable in Vista can't find the drivers for it. Thanx

These install Ok but when I plug the cable in Vista can't find the drivers for it. Thanx Sic, congratulations! Ever since 6610 was brand new I've been fighting with DKU-5, in Win98, Win2000 and XP. Sometimes the operating system reports the according COM-port, but seldom Nokia Suite or other phone program is able to use the port. I don't know why. Now I'm running Sony-Ericsson, but the communication between phone and computer is still a mess. Perhaps life would be easier if evolution had never been allowed to removed the inductor, local battery and old faithful Mary at the telephone exchange from our phone system? /Anders
