I had a conversation with Verizon twice today. One was about the
Blackberry Storm and how much it would cost to run. The other was with a local rep about the Alltel takeover and our grandfathered, beloved Alltel plans. His statement to me was MOST disturbing when I pointed out I bought UNLIMITED data tethering from my Motorola ROKR Z6m to my Nokia N800 Linux tablet computer for $25/mo. He pointed out this WASN'T PART OF MY PLAN but was a FEATURE and was NOT covered in the grandfathering when Verizon takes over in January! So, be prepared to lose your data tethering in January when the Verizon *******s suck up our company into their sellphone monopoly. They want $60 for 5GB tethered. Nuts.....screwed again! Those Jew investors that sold us out should be HUNG! |

NOBODY in the rank and file in either Alltel OR Verizon knows how these details are going to shake out. So listening to a rep and taking it for gospel...at best it's premature and at this point is nothing but heresay. Of course I would expect you to get all excited about something as insipid as this...........somebody like you who gets hit in the head with a raindrop then immediately starts running around yelling about the sky falling and we're all going to die............................ |

Of course I would expect you to get all excited about something as insipid as this...........somebody like you who gets hit in the head with a raindrop then immediately starts running around yelling about the sky falling and we're all going to die............................ It's about a month and a half until V-day. Isn't it about time someone knew something so the screwed customers can make other plans? As it stands, right now, if my current delivery and pricing including unlimited data service for $25, is discarded, I have a broken contract and will simply move off to VoIP, specifically Skype with unlimited phone coverage and two landline numbers in two countries for about $80/year with full voicemail. Callers will just have to wait for wifi access, which is VERY well covered in Charleston, SC, with extreme competition amoung restaurants, hotels, motels, etc.....more every day. I become less and less a sellular slave each month.... I'd like to keep the service, but to pay verizon's usury prices for so little actual service isn't really worth it. If I cannot have a reasonable data plan at a reasonable price, I'll move off to Cricket's $35 unlimited phone plan...which is on Verizon, anyway, without the hundred bucks a month nationwide service most people don't want and don't need, forced upon them. Cricket costs money to use in the country....on Verizon/Alltel CDMA, but it does work and 99% of my calls are in the city...where the $35/unlimited works great on the same footprint. Why not just come clean and tell us what they are going to do to us and what they are not going to do to us? Why just, as you are doing, sit like passive sheeple and take it up the ass, no matter what that is?? That's just stupid! |

![]() You guys do a wonderful job! Keep up the good work! Two Yuppettes were shopping. When they started to discuss their home lives, one said,"Seems like all Alfred and I do anymore is fight. I've been so upset I've lost 20 pounds." "Bobby have a pair of 'Air Jordans' (http://www.oknike.com/) shoes, I have Air Jordans do you have Air Jordans too? ""Why don't you just leave him then?" asked her friend."Oh! Not yet." the first replied, "I'd like to lose at least another fifteen pounds first." via 'www.oknike.com' (http://www.oknike.com/) -- bob83b |
