Artificial Heart Battery replacement

I got a call on my answering machine on Tuesday. It said "Mr.

days, call 1-800-xxx-xxxx. Everytime I call I get a message saying I
got an incorrect number. I have been getting a lot of dizzy spells
lately, so I carefully programmed the number into my direct dialer.
When I tried again I still get that error message. I am too tired to
keep calling it. What should i do

You forgot the disclaimer IANADr.

BTW, he can always run around with an extension cord. Just fill the
bathtub with water and jump in and that should take care of the problem.

I's probably just a line fault, keep trying for a few days, I'm sure
they'll have it fixed by the end of next week.

Buy an AC adapter at Radio Shack. They have AC adapters to fit everything.

yes, those programs exist, but it's slightly illegal, slightly as in, let
the poor sap die. although, you could build a colour box and set up a
laptop down at the nearest phone booth, you need the phone booth to make
sure nobody finds out it was you, and the colour box to make the calls
free. you might even want to get friends involved, give them a block of
numbers to call, then wait for them to do the bulk of the dirty work.
you'll have to move around to make sure the phone companies don't track
you down, they can get rather annoyed at the use of colour boxes, even for
a good cause.
as an alternative, you could set up a non profit organisation with the
direct goal of making sure this person gets his warning, but you'll have
to do it quick.

Methinks ranger be the prankster... anyone with a pacemaker, or more,
knows the drill on checking battery, sending data via your home phone,
etc. No one in that condition would be caught off-guard by such a
call.
