How do you tell if a Motorola T720 GSM phone set up for Cingular is
locked or unlocked? Does it say anywhere on the phone? The phone is
currently not in use.

Hi you can easily check it by your self that whether the motorola t720 mobile is locked or unlocked from cingular by using it with some other GSM network sim if it accepts other network sim then it is unlocked one else if it displays messages like sim invalid ,sim lock and so on once you insert other network sim in it then it mean the phone is locked with cingular due to this it wont accept any other GSM sim until you unlock it .You can easily unlock your phone using sites like MobileUnlockSolutions.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .After unlocking the phone you can freely use it with any GSM sim .
