Default All the features?

I am looking for a cell phone that has bluetooth, camera, and can transfer
images and polyphonic ringtones TO AND FROM the phone and PC. Motorola only
allows syncing of calendar and contacts. I am also limited to cingular,
verizon, and sprint.

Thanx

Are you saying those are the only 3 carriers in your area or the 3 you might
want to use?

I can only speak about the phones I've used on Cingular & ATT. I haven't
looked at any of the phones used on Verizon or Sprint, since I haven't been
a subscriber on either. I've used both the the Motorola V180 & the
Motorola V551.

1) Both phones allow all the types of messaging which will allow adding
wallpapers & ringtomes sent to the phone that way.

2) Both phones support polyphonic midi ringtomes, the V551 also supports mp3
ringtones.

3) The V551 has built in bluetooth. I've seen a bluetooth adaptor for the
V180 (no idea how well it works).

4) The V551 has a built in VGA resolution camera. I believe I've seen a
camera attachment for the V180.

5) What you can synch between those phones & a pc depends on which synching
program you use to do it. Some have more (or less) capabilities than
others. The Motorola Phone Tools suite can synch all the things you want.
Some of the others are more limited in synching capabilities. And MPT can
use either bluetooth or usb as the connection, depending on the phone.
There are also the p2k programs (usb only) for modifying the flex & flash,
editing seems & (if the phone supports them) adding custom themes & skins.

6) Most importantly, check out the coverage of the various carriers for the
areas where you'll be using the phone. Then go to places like phonescoop &
Howard Forums & check out the specs, reviews & discussions for the phone(s)
you think you might want. All the things you want aren't worth much if the
phone you've got has lousy reception or the carrier doesn't cover your area
well. No matter how cool a phone looks & sounds, that isn't worth much if
it can't do well making & receiving calls because the rest of the phone
isn't very good or the carrier has poor coverage in your area.

I am using Nokia 6250 which isn't sold nor supported by NokiaUSA, and
which allows all you are looking for and file transfer back and forth
between PC and phone. Nokia will have a model in the States before year
end which does all of that and is an improved camera. Is it the N90??

Meant to say Nokia 6260, not 6250.

You can transfer ringtones back and forth with motorola phones as well as
pictures. The software you need to do all this is Motoral phone tools. The
only feature you wont have access to do is transfer java games for this get
the wincomm drivers and intall it. Once this has been installed change the
driver on the bluetooth radio to the the csr one and you can access
bluetooth places and transfer even games. FYI MOtorola V551 is a great all
arround phone.

One small correction, Phone Tools is not able to transfer Java games to your
device for this you need other software. It is the only limitaion for the
software I have found but is easily overcome.

Myself, I have a Nokia 6230, try and have a look at the phones available on
those networks & compatible with PC Suite.
Nokia Pc Suit offers all the features you are looking for and more.
