The prepay plans are paid per month. In English, that is a pay per
month plan because you - surprise- pay once per month.

Are you not a native speaker of English or just that stupid?

Well, just that stupid is a given.

You're a $500,000/year sysadmin at an ISP, and you can't even afford
cell service.

By the way, bitch, you haven't shut me down yet. What's the problem,

It is a contract unless you bring youre own phone to Verizon.
to get out of the contact other wise costs you between $175 to $ 350.
if you dought this go ask a Verizon sales person.
if you can get a plan with a 2 year contract with NO cancelation fees you
wont find one.
I happen to be best friends with the women who runs my local Verizon store
and even with her perks and what not she cant get someone out of his or her
contract for no fee.

Not true. No more 2 year contracts. Those are GONE, with very few

T-Mobile started this concept 3 years ago, and disrupted the entire
industry status quo. AT&T, Sprint--no more contracts.

So ask yourself now: what's the difference between prepaid and
postpaid, when there's no contract and you can just sign up for service
and leave when you want with no penalty?

Who gives a flying **** if they get "testy"?

And like I said, you just buy the phone--no contract.

The "2 year contract" you're talking about is a payment plan for the
phone, not a contract for service. Just pay off the phone if you want
to leave, or just buy the thing up front in the first place--just like
everyone did back when Ma Bell broke up in 1984.

According to VERIZON NOT ME its a contact for both the service AND the

IF you want to cancel with in the 2 years you MUST pay the ETF early
termation fee.
AND return the phone in like new condition OR BE CHARGED FULL RETAIL PRICE
for the phone.
AGAIN THIS IS ACCORDING TO THEM NOT ME

You said that only ghetto people who "can't afford postpaid" do
prepaid--then you told the world you're on MetroPCS, a PREPAID MVNO.

Then you got all confused about the differences between today's prepaid
and postpaid, which are none with respect to contracts. There aren't
any service contracts anymore, but you think there are--and that only
$750K/year ISP sysadmins such as yourself can afford them.

Gee, Verizon offered "bring your own phone and we'll put you on month to
month service" as far back as 2008:

https://www.verizonwireless.com/news...08-09-22b.html

And in fact, when you go to VZW's web site to sign up, the first thing
they ask is if you have a phone or do you need a phone.

Following through with "need a phone," they further ask if you want to
buy it outright or finance it across 24 months.

I'm pretty sure this is you:
