Default HTC Evo 4G car kit?

Bought the Seidio Innotraveler and am wondering if I should get
something else... but what? Problem I'm having is if I am using a nav
program or Trapster the phone slowly discharges... I can put phone in
fully charged and charger can't keep up, after 3-4 hours of driving
battery will be discharged.

Sprint's web site doesn't show an "official" car kit...

....does HTC actually make one? Or is there anything else I should consider?

....or do I have a problem with my phone? I actually popped for the
"we'll replace it if you drop it in the toilet" insurance because it's a
spendy piece of kit.

thanks

nate

After messing with this for several days I can say that the car
charger that I bought in the store with the phone will *barely* keep
up with simultaneous Trapster and bluetooth. The Seidio will not.
I'm not real happy with either; I'd like to be able to have confidence
that my phone will be charged when I leave my car.

So does anyone make a car kit that will keep my battery charged?

....or should I insist on a replacement phone (that is, is anyone else
trying to do the same thing with the same parts and not having the
same problem?)

thanks

nate
